Topics include review of univariate probability distributions, multivariate distributions, statistical inference, and properties of point estimators, nonparametric statistics, and elementary Bayesian Statistics. A statistical computer package will be used. Typically offered Fall Spring. Prerequisite(s): MA 26100 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C- AND STAT 34500 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C- Course Learning Outcomes 1. Calculate the probability distribution of a function of random variables. 2. Derive the estimators of the parameters and interpret their properties. 3.
