Advanced work on development of Spanish speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities, focusing on materials dealing primarily with culture and the arts in the Spanish-speaking countries. Conducted primarily in Spanish. Typically offered Fall Spring. Prerequisite(s): SPAN 30200 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF D Course Learning Outcomes 1. Respond critically in Spanish to a movie from a Spanish speaking country, paraphrase its plot, and discuss the major themes by writing an essay on a specific topic. 2. Appraise, assess and compare different sources, by researching a culture topic in Latin America and making a 10-15 minute presentation in Spanish to the class. View Class Schedule
