Catalog description

This course explores the impact of social inequality upon crime and criminal justice. Race and ethnicity, gender, social class, sexual orientation, age and ability, and other systems of inequality will be examined with an emphasis on the intersectionality of these systems. Prerequisite(s): SOC 10000 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF D- Course Learning Outcomes 1. Describe the major systems of social stratification. 2.
