Catalog description

Experience at the mastery level in community service or civic organization(s) that builds student skills and knowledge and requires active engagement and critical reflection. Volunteerism of 20 hours per week (300 hours per semester) in off-campus Community Service or Civic site in work related to the student’s major and organized around specific learning objectives. Emphasis on collaboration between the student, the University and the Community. Typically offered Summer Fall Spring. Prerequisite(s): SERV 30100 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN.
