Catalog description

Experience at the advanced level in community service or civic organization(s) that builds student skills and knowledge and requires active engagement and critical reflection. Volunteerism of 15 hours per week (225 hours per semester) in off-campus Community Service or Civic site in work related to the student’s major and organized around specific learning objectives. Emphasis on collaboration between the student, the University and the Community. Typically offered Summer Fall Spring. Prerequisite(s): SERV 20100 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN.
