Catalog description

Experience at the mid-level in community service or civic organization(s) that builds student skills and knowledge and requires active engagement and critical reflection. Volunteerism of 10 hours per week (150 hours per semester) in off-campus Community Service or Civic site in work related to the student’s major and organized around specific learning objectives. Emphasis on collaboration between the student, the University and the Community. Typically offered Summer Fall Spring. Prerequisite(s): SERV 10100 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN.
