This course will examine legislation, policies, regulations, and ethical codes applicable to psychology. The ethical decision-making process will be explored, with particular emphasis on ethical professional practice in a variety of settings. Permission of department required. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Identify ethical conflicts that arise in psychology research and practice. 2. Recognize and apply specific ethical codes and guidelines to a variety of situations. 3. Practice ethical decision-making models and strategies. 4. Recognize legal issues and regulations involved in professional practice. 5.
