Catalog description
This course will introduce advanced theories, principles, techniques, and issues in the measurement of emotional and behavioral functioning. Topics will include development and evaluation of psychological tests, standardized tests currently used in the field, and basic clinical interviewing and test administration practices. Department approval required. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Describe the basic components of psychometrically sound assessments. 2. Identify threats and challenges to effective assessment practices. 3.
