An introduction to the different systems of government and decision-making found in countries around the world. Explores historical, cultural, and economic sources of variation, and compares differences and similarities across countries. General Education: Social Sciences Course Learning Outcomes 1. Compare different systems of government across countries and describe theories about how these differences explain political outcomes. 2. Identify the institutions of a society and explain their configuration and how/why they may change. 3.
