In this course students will study eastern religions with a special focus on two - Hinduism and Buddhism. They will examine these faiths from a philosophical-theological perspective, focusing on topics such as the conceptions of the divine, human nature or the self, salvation, ethics, and the afterlife. Typicall offered Fall Spring. Prerequisite(s): PHIL 23000 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF D- Course Learning Outcomes 1.
