Catalog description

This course takes up the study of competing theories of truth, including the correspondence theory, the coherence theory, and pragmatic theories. The course also surveys post-modern concepts of truth and considers the moral and political implications of the “post-truth” phenomenon. Prerequisite(s): PHIL 11000 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN.
