Students progress in their ability to master the competencies of the family nurse practitioner, using critical thinking and diagnostic reasoning skills. Students apply knowledge of clinical research, pharmacology, physiology, and conceptual frameworks to the primary care of middle-aged and older clients and families. Prerequisite: NUR 61300.
