Catalog description

This course focuses on both the generation of primary evidence through an in-depth examination of the research process and its critical use in evidence-based practice. Students systematically search, appraise, and interpret the best available evidence that informs advanced practice nursing and health related disciplines. Prerequisite(s): NUR 62502 FOR LEVEL GR MIN. GRADE OF D- Course Learning Outcomes 1. Implement search strategies of bibliographic databases that are sensitive and specific for research questions. (Aligns with Program outcome 1,6) 2. Appraise critically various sources of evidence using standardized tools. (Aligns with Program outcome 1,3,6) 3.
