Catalog description

This course provides the knowledge and skills required for community health nursing. Theory and evidence-based practice are emphasized. Critical thinking is applied in the assessment of a community and in analyzing its ability to meet the health needs of its members. Nursing roles and functions are developed through experiences provided to populations in a variety of settings. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer. Prerequisite(s): NUR 39201 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN.
