This course consists of the study of compressible and incompressible fluid statics and dynamics as applied to hydraulic and pneumatic pumps, motors, transmissions, and controls. Typically offered Spring. Prerequisite(s): PHYS 22000 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF D- Course Learning Outcomes 1. Design hydraulic and pneumatic systems. 2. Compute various properties related to fluids and fluid power systems using appropriate mathematical equations and tools. 3. Analyze both hydraulic and pneumatic fluid power systems and their relevant components. 4. Demonstrate the efficient use of various components as part of a fluid power system. 5. Analyze the results from standard computing and simulation tools to create presentations and reports. View Class Schedule
