Catalog description

This course will cover topics at the cross-section of Cyber Security and Machine Learning. The course will cover uses of machine learning for Cyber Security, as well as cyber security issues associated with AI models and systems, such as AI vulnerabilities. Topics include: the techniques of machine learning and deep learning as applied to cyber security-related datasets and problems, adversarial machine learning, LLM and other pre-trained model vulnerabilities and defenses, etc. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Demonstrate the knowledge of cyber security and machine learning principles and practices. 2. Demonstrate the skills and techniques in Cyber Security and Machine Learning, including cyber defense with AI/ML, and AI model vulnerabilities and adversarial attacks. 3. Develop coding projects and assignments that cover the relation between Cyber Security and Machine Learning. 4. Study recent case studies of recent issues related to Cyber Security and Machine Learning. View Class Schedule
