Mobile Application Development

Catalog description

This course focuses on developing mobile applications for multiple platforms. Topics include special considerations for devices (smartphones and tablets) with limited computational power and system resources, application development paradigms, sensor-based applications (touching, gesture, and movement), location-based applications, network programming, interactivity with data sources and application integration, testing with simulators, as well as consideration and preparation for application publishing.
