Catalog description

This is a synthesis course designed to give students the opportunity to utilize the information and skills learned during their Integrative Human Health degree to solve real world problems within the area of health care. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Utilize problem-solving, critical-thinking and decision-making skills in a variety of health settings and situations 2. Evaluate effective leadership and management strategies common in health care delivery systems and environments 3. Articulate evidence-based health care practices for optimum health outcomes 4. Demonstrate accountability within the legal and ethical parameters of the health care system 5. Integrate communication skills into professional roles 6. Utilize information technology in the delivery of health care 7.
