Catalog description

This course will offer instructional techniques for early childhood motor activities and development. Experiences will be presented in a variety of activities with an emphasis on motor development, skill themes, rhythmic movement, and tumbling and developmental gymnastics. Prerequisite(s): PSY 12000 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C Course Learning Outcomes 1. Define and discuss motor development and all associated terms. 2. Discuss the potential impact the quality of physical education programs might have on the development of motor skills. 3.
