Basic nutrition and its application in meeting nutritional needs of all ages. Credit not given for both IHH 31300 and FN 30300 or F&N 31500. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer. Course Learning Outcomes 1. To gain a basic understanding of the fundamentals of nutrition. 2. To understand how dietary needs vary throughout the life cycle. 3. To understand the relationship between diet and human health. 4. To make a wise selection of food to meet the physiological and psychologyical needs of the individual. 5.
