Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce the necessary skills and competencies required for treatment of basic athletic injuries. This course will include the study of modern theories and principles of athletic training mechanisms as well as the nature and causes of the most common sports-related injuries. Typically offered Fall Spring. Prerequisite(s): SCI 10500 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C OR BIOL 10100 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C OR BIOL 21300 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C Course Learning Outcomes 1. Read and apply information from a variety of sources. 2.
