Introduction to exercise prescription and overview of the basic prevention, assessment, and management techniques for athletic injuries. Students will be instructed in the basic policies and procedures of a variety of health disciplines and how each discipline is connected to Exercise and Sport Health. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Define the nature and scope of the sports health profession. 2. Outline the changing concepts of sports health through its history. 3. Apply basic prevention, assessment, and management techniques for athletic injuries. 4.
