Catalog description

to 10.00. Lectures and clinical laboratory experience in diagnostic procedures as aids to the diagnosis of human disease. Proper selection of techniques for the isolation and identification of medically important bacteria. Special emphasis is placed on newer methods for anaerobic bacteria identification. Also includes lectures and laboratory identification in the fields of mycology and microbacteriology, with emphasis on isolation and identification. Practical applications of fluorescent antibody tests are performed. Typically offered Fall Spring. View Class Schedule
