Catalog description

The course will introduce students to laboratory safety, basic measuring techniques, principles of instrumentation, quality control, and overview of the clinical laboratory departments, quality management, regulatory/accrediting organizations, corporate compliance, and education and training methods. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Properly handle and dispose of biological waste, sharp objects, and chemicals in the laboratory. 2. Properly use common laboratory instruments. 3.
