Catalog description

(ECON 37500) A study of the growth of the American economy from colonial times to the late 19th century. Emphasis is placed on the application of the tools of economic analysis to historical questions concerning the sources and rate of growth, the relationships between growth and structural and institutional change, and the impact of industrialization on the quality of life in the American economy.
