A description and analysis of major domestic and foreign, social, political, military, and diplomatic issues confronting the United States in the 1960’s and approaches and efforts to resolve these issues. The class will utilize the 1960’s as a laboratory to provide students with both historical and political science skills and approaches to the issues and themes of a particular period.
