An overview of issues and opportunities in non-teaching careers in historic preservation, archives and curation, museums, records management and corporate history, and living history. Students tour local museums and historical societies, network with museum professionals, and learn public history methods. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Demonstrate an understanding of public history and archival theory and professional ethics. 2. Develop an awareness of critical issues and controversies in public history and archival practice. 3.
