Supervised work experience to actively integrate theories and knowledge gained from undergraduate studies in family and indvidual development. Prerequisite(s): HDFS 35002 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF D- Experiential Learning (EXL): Yes Course Learning Outcomes 1. Demonstrate personal qualities that are essential to job success. 2. Gain knowledge of how a professional setting assists families and individuals. 3. Complete practicum objectives that were created by the practicum student and on site supervisor, approved by practicum faculty. 4. Integrate knowledge and experience gained from undergraduate studies into the practicum setting. 5. Be aware of and sensitive to issues of cultural diversity and ethics related to the professional setting. 6. Submit all assignments to all people in a professional manner and on time.
