A beginning French course with emphasis on communicative skills (listening and speaking), literacy skills (reading and writing) and culture. Permission of department required. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.CTL:IWL 1901 French Level I Course Learning Outcomes 1. Explain and produce biographical information about themselves and others in the French language. 2. Identify necessary information by asking questions about people and things in the French language. 3. Solve a simple survival situation such as ordering food and beverages in the French language. 4.
