Examines nutrient requirements and recommendations for normal growth and development and disease prevention. Includes the life stages from pregnancy through older adulthood. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer. Prerequisite(s): FN 30300 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C- AND FN 26000 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C- Course Learning Outcomes 1. Attain a working knowledge of nutrient needs during the stages of life. 2. Describe different types of nutrition related risk factors through life. 3.
