Catalog description

This course is for those who are seriously interested in starting a new business. Too many businesses are started on the basis of hunches, or trying to copy others. This course will prepare students to systematically search for and evaluate business opportunities that not only fit the prevailing economic environment, but also match the in individual’s needs and experiences. Permission of Department required. Typically offered Fall. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Understand why systematic identification of opportunities is critical to becoming successful as an entrepreneur. 2. Learn how to create, shape, recognize and seize opportunities. 3.
