An introduction to engineering design. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer. Prerequisite(s): MA 15900 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C- OR MA 15400 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C- OR APPL FOR MIN. SCORE OF 075 OR S12 FOR MIN. SCORE OF 610 OR A02 FOR MIN. SCORE OF 30 Course Learning Outcomes 1. Solve simple direct current (DC) circuits for voltage, current, and power; and test DC circuits using the electronics labs instrumentation. 2. Implement simple electric circuits using the breadboard and NXT set of sensors and DC motors. 3. Implement simple logic functions, and consruct truth tables for small scale design problems. 4. Design and implement simple projects using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robotic kit. View Class Schedule
