A study of literary or cinematic works that share distinctive formal features. A project-based capstone seminar containing a significant research component. May be repeated for credit only with a different topic. Typically offered Summer Fall Spring. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 10000 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF B- OR ENGL 10400 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. Demonstrate detailed knowledge of a single literary genre. 2. Discuss that genre in relation to its diverse historical, cultural, and aesthetic contexts. 3.
