Catalog description

The development of the ability to write and design documents using electronic publishing technologies. Students will receive instruction in writing, graphics, and publishing software and will write, design, produce, and critique a number of publications. Typically offered Summer Fall Spring. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Understand the foundational principles of document design and gain practical experience with contemporary design tools. 2. Build portfolio pieces that employ a design thinking approach, both in content and execution 3.
