Practice in writing short prose narratives and poetry for students who have finished composition and wish to expand into creative work. Workshop criticism and discussion of published writing. Typically offered Summer Fall Spring. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 10100 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF D- OR ENGL 10400 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF D- OR HONR 11100 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF D- General Education: Humanities Course Learning Outcomes At the end of Engl 205 students will be able to: Compose original poetry; Compose original fiction; and Analyze and critique peer work by using the vocabulary of craft.
