Catalog description

This course focuses on developing basic listening and conversation skills. Students practice listening and speaking about various topics, both inside and outside of the classroom, in order to establish a solid foundation in this essential skill. A wide variety of listening excerpts, discussion prompts, and small-group tasks, assist in the development of listening comprehension and oral fluency and accuracy.
