(EDST 60800) This course explores the management and operation of the school business environment, the critical trends and issues in the field, and the internal and external determinants of school fiscal policy. As applicable, selected core and supplemental content and skills from the district level educator standards of the Indiana Standards for School Leaders are addressed in this course. Emphasis is on the integration of theory and practice. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Know the success of managing the organization, operations, and resources of a district in a way that promotes a safe, efficient, and effective learning environment. 2.
