(EDST 51600) This course will stress concepts and principles relevant to school-community interaction. It will focus on the new roles of the public in education and will deal with problems encountered by educators in communicating with the public. Typically offered Fall. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Design their commitment to build stronger family and community relationships with schools. 2. Understand important analytical, policy-relevant, and practice-oriented perspectives on family and community involvement in education 3.
