Catalog description

Examines computer-based interactive multimedia theory, research, design, development, and evaluation. Includes a digital audio-video production and design of interactive multimedia for stand-alone or online delivery. Prerequisite: EDCI 56100, 57200. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer. Prerequisite(s): EDCI 56100 FOR LEVEL GR WITH MIN. GRADE OF B- AND EDCI 57200 FOR LEVEL GR WITH MIN. GRADE OF B- Course Learning Outcomes 1. Define interactive multimedia, and characterize commonly used interactive multimedia delivery technologies. 2. Discuss the historical evolution of interactive multimedia technologies. 3. Read and evaluate research literature on interactive multimedia design. 4. Explain theoretical principles for the design of interactive multimedia for education and training. 5. Apply knowledge of interactive multimedia to the design and develop of an effective interactive multimedia product for education or training. View Class Schedule
