Catalog description

The course aims to develop understanding of multicultural education as an on-going reform process that addresses social justice issues through an examination of race, class, gender, ethnicity, language, sexual orientation, etc. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Develop awareness of multicultural issues in education and other fields. 2. Increase knowledge of multicultural education and applications of multicultural theories to education and other disciplines. 3. Develop skills in meeting the needs of diverse populations.
