to 16.00. Student Teaching in the Elementary School is the final student teaching field experience. The course will consist of full-time teaching in the classroom and a seminar. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Apply understanding of children’s growth and support individual student development. 2. Plan and use a variety of effective instructional practices and cohesive sequences of lessons in order to explicitly teach concepts/strategies/skills. 3. Use a variety of assessment strategies and their results to plan instruction and improve teaching. 4. Create collaborative classroom communities. Plan and implement classroom procedures and teaching strategies that maximize student motivation and engagement. 5. Work collaboratively.
