Catalog description

In this course we are going to learn several important topics based on Human Robot Interaction. We will study how robots perceive humans and environment and perform actions. We will be working on Furhat SDK and work on ROS, Gazebo, Rviz and Webots. The lectures will be based on the following topics: 1) Human-Robot Interaction and its types. (2) How a Robot Works? (3) How People Perceive Robots? (4) Research Methods (5) Tools used for Research Methods (6) Applications (7) Robots in Society (8) The Future of HRI (9) Planning and Detection using ROS. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Understand how robots interact with humans and will have a clear understanding of human robot teams. 2.
