Catalog description
In this course, students apply the knowledge and skills gained from earlier AI Fluency courses to design, implement, and present an AI-based project in their own fields of study. Working individually or in teams, students are expected to integrate ethical considerations and domain expertise to develop practical AI solutions, research prototypes, or creative applications. Students may take a project involving programming implementation or a project without programming implementation depending on first course they complete (CS12100 or CS22100). Prerequisite(s): CS 12100 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C- OR CS 22110 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C- Course Learning Outcomes 1. Able to apply AI technologies effectively in real-world projects—either by developing and implementing technical solutions (e.g., using large language models, machine learning, or computer vision) or by proficiently using AI tools in professional contexts to support diverse project needs.
