Survey and critical evaluation of theoretical and empirical literature dealing with human communication within small group settings. Typically offered Summer Fall. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Explain theories of small group communication including theories about cohesion, conflict, power, leadership, decision-making, norms, and deviance. 2. Apply small group communication concepts and theories to their lived experience. 3. Analyze their own and others’ behaviors in groups and its impact on small group communication. 4.
