Understand the purpose for and how to comply with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, statutes, and ordinances that apply to construction projects. 2. Obtain skills in interpreting various types of technical specifications using the CSI form and MasterSpec. 3. Obtain knowledge of how plans and technical specifications are used together to determine contractual responsibilities on construction projects and how to resolve discrepancies that might arise between them. 4.
