An introduction to the synthesis, characterization, and physical properties of high molecular weight polymers. The reactions, thermodynamics, and kinetics of polymerization as well as the physical characterization, the molecular structure, and the fabrication of polymers will be discussed. Typically offered Spring. Prerequisite(s): CHM 25600 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C- OR CHM 26605 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C- Course Learning Outcomes 1.
