Principles and applications of current theoretical and computational methods in molecular modeling. Advanced visualization methods will be used to study molecular structure. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer. Prerequisite(s): CHM 25600 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C- OR CHM 26605 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C- Course Learning Outcomes 1. Students will gain experience in using Linux-based software and performing research level calculations using both semi-empirical and ab initio methods, including modern density functional theory.
