A continuation of CHM 25501. Experiments are designed to illustrate principles discussed in CHM 25600. Prerequisite(s): CHM 25501 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C- AND CHM 25600 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C- (MAY BE TAKEN CONCURRENTLY) Course Learning Outcomes 1. Learn through practical experience the isolation, purification, and characterization of organic compounds through processes including liquid-liquid extraction, evaporation, solid-phase chromatography, distillation and infrared spectroscopy. 2.
