An advanced course in User Experience (UX) design focusing on user strategies, cross-channel design, accessibility, information architecture, and project management. Students become highly proficient in user research methodology, working within a team-based environment and documenting the design process. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer. Prerequisite(s): CGT 14100 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C AND CGT 25000 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C AND CGT 35200 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C Course Learning Outcomes 1. Formulate user needs, motivations, and goals as it relates to accessibility, findability, and searchability. 2. Derive user behavior as it relates to cross-channel design. 3. Evaluate user strengths and weaknesses within emerging online platforms and domains. 4. Assess digital products, service, and applications according to user needs, motivations, goals, and behaviors.
