Catalog description

This course introduces the many facets of interactive multimedia design and production. Students are introduced to authoring programs used for information delivery, with special attention focused on the integration of various media assets for communication. There is also concentration on the storage, management, and retrieval of media assets in a production environment. Considerable time is spent on the systematic design of interactive media products to meet specified goals of communication. Typically offered Fall. Prerequisite(s): CGT 25600 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C Course Learning Outcomes 1. Plan and implement interactive media campaigns that engage users across digital and physical spaces. 2. Synthesize and integrate multiple media channels to develop cohesive user experiences. 3. Assess and interpret the effectiveness of interactive campaigns using data-driven insights and analytics. 4. Design and produce creative content tailored to different media platforms and audience needs. 5. Develop and prototype dynamic interactions across various devices to enhance user engagement.
